French AI Movie Studio InevitAble Raises €15 Million to Produce 4K Films in Four Months
Paris-based AI movie studio InevitAble has secured €15 million (approximately $16.8 million) in private equity funding. Founded by producer Jean Mach alongside a team of cinema and technology veterans, the studio claims it can deliver a 90-to-100 minute theatrical feature in just four months for around $250,000 — a fraction of traditional production costs.
InevitAble's pipeline works by having directors collaborate with animators and 3D specialists to construct a shot-by-shot animated version of the full script, locking in camera angles, character movement, lighting, and pacing. Proprietary software then uses AI tools — including ControlNet and LoRAs — to render the 3D animatic into a photorealistic 4K master, bypassing live-action physical production entirely. Founder Jean Mach has stated he believes AI will replace traditional cinema within 15 years.
