Filmustage Raises $1.5M Seed Round and Launches Pre-Production Platform 2.0

Filmustage, a film pre-production platform, closed a $1.5 million seed round led by Raw Ventures and Geek Ventures in 2024. The funding fueled a wave of new capabilities, including script revision tracking, Final Draft integration, and the release of Filmustage 2.0, which aims to automate the full pre-production workflow from script breakdown through budgeting.

The company reports that over 12,500 projects were created on the platform during 2024, and its funding milestone drew coverage from outlets including Business Insider and StartUp Magazine. With the seed capital now deployed, Filmustage is positioning itself as an end-to-end pre-production solution for filmmakers ahead of 2025.
