Filmustage, an AI-powered platform that automates script breakdowns, analysis, and shooting schedules, has closed a $1.5 million seed round led by Raw Ventures, with participation from Geek Ventures and other investors. The company claims its tools reduce production team workload by up to 90% and improve accuracy sixfold, and has surpassed 15,000 registrations as of August 2024.
The fresh capital will be used to extend Filmustage's AI capabilities into budget estimation, storyboarding, and multi-language support. The platform currently integrates large models such as ChatGPT and Gemini while also developing its own proprietary AI model tailored to script and production-plan workflows. Industry advisors include former WarnerMedia VP Byron Saltysiak, Crafty Apes co-founder Chris LeDoux, and ex-Warner Bros. VP Barry Loudis.
