Adobe Brings Photoshop, Firefly, and Acrobat to Google Gemini and Upgrades Its Claude Integration

Adobe has launched a new plugin bringing its creative suite — including Photoshop, Lightroom, Express, and Firefly — directly into Google's Gemini AI assistant. The integration lets Gemini users access pro-grade Adobe tools through conversational prompts to enhance photos, generate marketing assets, and customize design templates, mirroring existing plugins Adobe already offers for ChatGPT, Slack, Copilot, and Claude.

Alongside the Gemini launch, Adobe is upgrading its Claude integration by adding Acrobat tools for the first time, giving Claude users access to more than 80 pro-grade tools spanning Acrobat, Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Lightroom, InDesign, and Adobe Stock from within a single plugin. Adobe also introduced new interactive editing capabilities within the Claude plugin, and indicated further AI platform integrations are on its roadmap.
