Yoko Higuchi-Zitzmann and Mark Wachholz Launch AI-Native Film Studio Dreamkite Studios in Germany

Former Telepool CEO Yoko Higuchi-Zitzmann and AI filmmaker Mark Wachholz have launched Dreamkite Studios, a Munich- and Berlin-based production company developing premium films, high-end TV series, and IP-based short-form content. The studio will combine generative AI with traditional filmmaking, employing professional directors and actors in AI-first and hybrid productions, with an explicit focus on European creative sovereignty and building an IP library.

Higuchi-Zitzmann, who previously led Telepool during its time under Will Smith's Westbrook and served as managing director of Pantaleon Films, takes the CEO role. Wachholz, whose 2025 AI film "The Cinema That Never Was" won Grand Prizes at the Omni International AI Film Festival and the Artefact AI Film Festival, joins as chief creative director. The company has positioned itself as a future leading European premium studio at the forefront of the AI entertainment ecosystem.
