Utopai Studios Launches PAI Production Intelligence Platform and Utopai X Video Model for Film and TV

Utopai Studios has unveiled PAI, a production intelligence platform built specifically for professional film and television, alongside Utopai X, its video generation model. Developed inside an operating studio, PAI connects screenplay analysis, shot planning, asset management, and revision tracking in a unified environment that integrates with established post-production tools including Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. AI agents within PAI — called Production Assistants — help filmmakers plan shots and generate iterations while keeping creative decisions tied to the broader production context.

Utopai X serves as the video generation layer within PAI and currently ranks No. 2 globally on Artificial Analysis' Text-to-Video Leaderboard With Audio, with an Elo score of 1,150, and is described as the highest-ranked model from a U.S.-based company on that leaderboard. The model is engineered for complex visual behaviors such as reflections, caustics, and spatial consistency — capabilities the company says are critical for maintaining visual continuity across shots. Utopai Studios is already using the combined system on its own productions, including the upcoming animated feature "The Most Serious Fart," directed by Mike Bender.
