At SIGGRAPH 2026 in Los Angeles, NVIDIA announced Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration across leading digital content creation applications, enabling AI agents to operate inside tools where scenes, timelines, and assets are built — while keeping creative control with artists. Practical use cases include scene inspection for missing textures, asset validation, and workflow automation, with NVIDIA framing MCP as the next chapter after decades of GPU-acceleration in DCC pipelines.
Alongside the MCP initiative, NVIDIA revealed additional launches including the Cosmos 3 Edge open world model for local physical AI inference and NemoClaw with the Agent Toolkit running on DGX Station. The announcements were delivered via a SIGGRAPH keynote featuring NVIDIA AI research and engineering leaders Neil Ashton, Edward Liu, and Ming-Yu Liu, covering neural rendering, world models, and simulation.
