Speaking at New York Comic Con, Nicolas Cage stated he does not plan to work with Amazon again, citing the company's reported $50 billion investment in OpenAI and his refusal to sign an AI waiver during production of Spider-Noir. "I am not an AI friendly actor," Cage said, per The Hollywood Reporter, noting that declining the waiver likely closes the door on future Amazon projects — a stance he described as acceptable.
Cage also pushed back on a widely circulated August story suggesting National Treasure 3 was imminent, clarifying he had not committed to the project despite public comments from franchise director Jonathan Turteltaub. The actor left the door open to a third installment on his own terms, joking that he'd only make it if the story involved his character "going after the Epstein files."
