Filmustage, an AI-powered script breakdown platform for filmmakers, has published the origin story of its founding alongside the announcement of a new scheduling feature now in beta testing. The company's CEO and co-founder, Egor Dubrovsky, traces the platform's roots to his background in advertising and filmmaking in Belarus and an early trip to Los Angeles — experiences that exposed the pain points of manual pre-production work and inspired the idea for an automated solution.

The new scheduling feature, released for beta testing, extends Filmustage's existing script breakdown automation and aims to further reduce the administrative burden on filmmakers during pre-production. The platform's stated goal is to let creatives focus on the craft while offloading routine production logistics to the tool.
