Filmustage Releases Tag Editor 3.0 with Bulk Operations and Manual Breakdown Option

Filmustage has shipped Tag Editor 3.0, a significant update to its AI-assisted film pre-production platform. The headline feature is bulk tag operations, allowing users to group, edit, or delete multiple tags at once across Script, Summary, and Reports tabs — streamlining the cleanup process that typically follows an AI-driven script breakdown. Additional Script tab improvements include customizable scene numbering and a clickable SET tag category, while the Summary tab gains a scene synopsis block for at-a-glance scene overviews.

The update also introduces an enhanced Script Risk Analysis tool under the Analysis tab, and a new Manual Breakdown checkbox in the project creation window, giving filmmakers the option to run a fully manual breakdown alongside or instead of the AI-generated one. Taken together, the changes reflect a push toward greater user control and flexibility within an otherwise AI-led pre-production workflow.
