Filmustage Adds Visual References Board, Total Summary, and Notes 2.0 to Its Script Breakdown Platform

Filmustage has rolled out three new features for its AI-assisted script breakdown and pre-production platform. The Visual References board lets production teams attach images to individual breakdown tags — sourcing from asset stores, image stocks, or their own uploads — and can double as a lightweight storyboard template. An AI system surfaces visual recommendations based on script keywords, helping teams quickly build mood and reference materials.

Rounding out the update, the Total Summary board aggregates all tagged elements by frequency of appearance across scenes and the full script, giving productions a sortable, editable overview of their assets. The new Notes 2.0 feature allows users to annotate any tag directly within the Total Summary section, keeping creative and logistical context in one workspace.
