AJA KONA IP25 Now Integrates with Colorfront Transkoder and On-set Dailies for ST 2110 Workflows

AJA has announced that its KONA IP25 PCIe I/O card is now integrated with Colorfront's Transkoder and On-set Dailies software, bringing uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 video I/O to post-production dailies, transcoding, and streaming pipelines. The KONA IP25, an 8-lane PCIe Gen 4.0 card supporting bidirectional uncompressed video over 10/25 GigE, pairs with Colorfront's high-performance mastering and camera-original media management tools to address growing demand for IP-based, high-resolution, high-frame-rate facility workflows.

AJA President Nick Rashby cited the industry shift toward ST 2110 as facilities future-proof against rising file sizes and resolution demands. Colorfront's Brandon Heaslip noted the integration required only an SDK update and minor code modifications, making it a low-friction upgrade for shared customers already relying on both platforms in production and post environments.
