AI-Produced Sci-Fi Series 'Space Nation' and 'Kira' to World-Premiere Pilots at Mipcom

Two generative AI-produced science-fiction series, "Space Nation" and "Kira," will debut their pilot episodes at Mipcom in Cannes. Both projects come from Ex Machina Studios and are being handled for worldwide sales by K5 Intl — marking what the companies believe to be a notable milestone for AI-produced long-form television on the international market.

The premieres signal growing industry appetite for AI-generated scripted content at major TV trade markets, with distributors now actively bringing such projects to buyers alongside conventionally produced fare.
