The AI Movie Awards (AIMA) festival is heading to London for its second edition on November 7–8, 2026, marking its first move outside Spain after a debut in Magaluf, Mallorca that drew over 300 submissions from 37 countries and 200 attendees from more than 20 nations. The two-day event will be held at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in Savoy Place and is produced in partnership with James Drake Media.
The London edition expands AIMA's scope beyond film to include new categories for image and motion art, advertising, music, and vertical format. A high-profile jury has been confirmed, including Hollywood producers David Barron (Harry Potter) and Tommy Harper (Mission: Impossible, Top Gun), Academy Award-winning VFX pioneer John Gaeta (The Matrix), VFX & AI supervisor Stuart Cripps, and Grammy-nominated artist Fab Morvan. Submissions are open with an extended deadline of October 10th.
