AI-Hybrid Horror Feature 'Terrarium' Announces Full Cast, Begins Principal Photography

Artlist and AI-native studio Secret Level have revealed the ensemble cast for "Terrarium," an AI-hybrid horror feature that has already entered principal photography. The film stars Jake Busey, Kylee Levien, Ace Green, Lynn Kim Do, Austin Willard, and Rachel Sorsa, and is directed by Jason Zada ("The Forest"), with veteran horror producer Steven Schneider ("Paranormal Activity") serving as a developer on the project.

"Terrarium" combines live-action union performances with AI-driven production tools under full SAG-AFTRA and DGA compliance, leveraging Artlist's generative-media technology within Secret Level's pipeline. The hybrid model is designed to deliver ambitious visuals at a fraction of the traditional budget and schedule — a notable test case for how AI provisions negotiated by the guilds can function in an active feature production.
