Adobe Unveils AI-Powered Features for Premiere and After Effects at IBC 2026

Adobe has announced a suite of AI-driven features for Premiere Pro and After Effects at IBC 2026. Highlights include a Generative Media Tool for Premiere that can generate video, sound effects, soundscapes, and music directly in the timeline, along with AI Audio Innovations in beta that handle dialogue cleanup, audio stem separation, and automatic crosstalk splitting of overlapping speakers into independent tracks. Color Mode improvements are also in beta.

On the After Effects side, the new AI Assistant (beta) enables users to automate project reorganization, repair broken expressions, and build expression rigs using natural language — eliminating the need for manual coding. The feature, outlined by Adobe's Deepa Subramaniam, has already drawn tutorial coverage since entering beta ahead of the IBC announcement.
