# Wirestock Raises $23M Series A to Supply Multimodal Creative Data to AI Labs

_Funding · published 2026-06-25_

Wirestock, a creative marketplace that pivoted from stock photography distribution to AI data supply in 2023, has raised $23 million in Series A funding led by Nava Ventures, with participation from SBVP, Formula VC, and I2BF Ventures. The company now sources images, videos, design assets, and 3D and gaming content from a network of more than 700,000 artists and designers, supplying multimodal datasets to six of the largest foundation model makers. It reports an annual run-rate revenue of $40 million and has paid out $15 million to contributors to date.

The raise comes as demand for high-quality creative training data surges across the AI industry. Wirestock differentiates by focusing on data for generative creative use cases — image, video, and potentially audio and music — and is building enterprise software to let AI labs collaborate directly on dataset curation. CEO Mikayel Khachatryan noted the business evolved from licensing its existing library to fulfilling custom content requests, opening new earning opportunities for the creators on its platform. The new capital will fund hires in research, engineering, and product, bringing total funding raised to approximately $26 million.
