# LTX Director 2.0 Brings Full Timeline Video Editor to ComfyUI

LTX Director 2.0 is a major update to the open-source ComfyUI node set from WhatDreamsCost, introducing a complete timeline-based video editor with AI-powered editing capabilities. The release adds support for trimming, splitting, and combining clips within the timeline, alongside prompt- and keyframe-driven video extension and audio inpainting that blends imported audio with AI-generated audio.

New features also include IC-LoRA support via drag-and-drop, a Retake Mode (beta) for selectively re-generating segments within a shot, and timeline save/load via JSON. The update ships with a substantial UI overhaul — redesigned prompt boxes, a new sidebar, snapping, multi-select, and dozens of quality-of-life improvements — as well as NAG support and compatibility updates requiring the latest versions of ComfyUI-LTXVideo and ComfyUI-KJNodes.
