# Go-with-the-Track Unifies Video Compositing and Motion Control via Point-Track Conditioning

_Research · published 2026-06-24_

Researchers have introduced Go-with-the-Track, a single model that brings together motion control and video compositing—two capabilities that existing approaches treat as separate problems. The key innovation is joint conditioning on multiple reference images and reference-anchored point-tracks, which explicitly establish spatial correspondences between generated video frames and reference content, enabling fine-grained control over both composition and camera movement throughout a sequence.

The model supports a broad range of applications including multi-reference restylization, mesh-driven compositing, keypoint-driven appearance transfer, and camera control in both static and dynamic scenes—including 360° orbits and complex spiral trajectories. By decoupling motion (encoded as point-tracks) from appearance (encoded in reference images), Go-with-the-Track offers a more unified and precise framework for controllable video generation than prior trajectory- or reference-conditioned approaches.
