# Filmustage 3.0 Launches AI-Powered Budgeting Alongside Call Sheet and VFX Upgrades

Filmustage has released version 3.0 of its pre-production platform, headlined by an AI budgeting feature that generates draft production budgets in seconds from script breakdowns, day-to-day schedule data, and publicly available industry sources including U.S. guild and union rates and real rental cost data from partners. Rather than replacing the budgeting process, the tool is designed to give filmmakers a contextual, project-specific starting point to refine rather than a blank spreadsheet.

The update also brings upgraded budget templates and fringe management, a redesigned interface, a fully reworked Call Sheets module, and a second-generation VFX toolset. A forthcoming feature will allow the AI to draw on a user's own historical budget data — stored privately and not used for model training — to further sharpen cost estimates on future projects.
