# 2D House Becomes First North American Rental House to Stock ZEISS Aatma Cinema Lenses

Los Angeles-based rental house 2D House took delivery of the ZEISS Aatma prime set in early June 2026, making it the first rental house in North America to offer the lenses. The nine-prime T1.5 full-frame set — spanning 18mm through 135mm — is designed to combine the aesthetic character of classic Zeiss glass with modern optical engineering, including support for Zeiss eXtended Data (XD) and CinCraft ecosystem integration for VFX, camera tracking, and virtual production workflows.

Founder and CEO David Dvir noted the lenses went out on rental immediately upon arrival, and expects them to see strong demand across commercials and streaming narrative productions. He highlighted the Aatma's distinctive bokeh rendering — particularly its ability to separate foreground and background planes — as a key differentiator.
